The session will consist of a brief history of Digital Projection, Inc. The instructor will discuss and illustrate through PowerPoint an overview of DPI’s Radiance LED Wall technology. Instructor will describe and discuss how to specify requirements for an LED display to include: resolution, pitch, power consumption, space available, panel shape, panel resolution, light output measurement specifications, controller options, cabling, serviceability (front or rear), and support structure considerations. A brief Q&A will out the session.

Troy A. Cobb is CTS certified and currently holds the position of Director of Training Development and Application Support for Digital Projection International located in Kennesaw, GA. Troy received his Associate of Science degree from Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Phoenix. Troy also earned a Master of Arts degree (M.A.) in Business Management from Antioch Midwestern University in Yellow Springs, OH. During a 10-year career as a United States Marines as an Electronics Instructor for the TMDE school. After Troy’s career with the Marines, he went to work for Barco, Inc. in Kennesaw, GA. His career at Barco started as a Bench Technician working on Barco’s complete line of video projectors to include such technologies as CRT, LCD, and DLP. Troy went back to the manufacturing side of the industry with his current employer, Digital Projection International (DPI). At DPI, Troy spent his first four years as Technical Services Manager where he was in charge of Technical Support. Troy is now the Director of Training group.
