In this session, John will explore many of the important considerations in designing and selecting a lighting system, for either your new construction project or retrofit. Some of the topics we will explore are ROI, maintenance, quality of light and the overall aesthetic benefit offered by such systems. You will leave this seminar with a better understanding of the cost/benefit of these systems and some of the tools needed to determine if they are right for you.
About the speaker
Global Brand Manager / Chroma-Q
John Fuller is the Global Brand Manager for Chroma-Q and has been in the lighting industry for over 30 years, leaning heavily towards the excitement of entertainment lighting. Although he studied Physics at the University of Colorado, entertainment lighting has always been his passion.
John was a freelance theatre & dance lighting designer and technical director of Macky Auditorium in Boulder Colorado in the 1980’s, after which, he moved over to the industry side of the biz. The years prior to his current position, John was Principal and founder of Mountain Light Company in Denver Colorado and held senior management positions with Wybron and Lee Filters division of Panavision.
John has presented lighting sessions for the AV Expo in Denver and has lectured extensively on color theory as it applies to film, television and live production. Lecture venues include; the ASC clubhouse, CU Boulder, Art Center College of Design, San Diego State University, UCLA, Bronx Community College and many others. John is a listed inventor on two patents relating to the lighting and photographic industries.
