Thomas Small


Thomas Small, AIA is a registered architect in multiple states, managing his private practice from Oklahoma since 2000.  Since his graduation from the Oklahoma State University School of Architecture in 1982, he has served as a project director at large multi-discipline A&E firms and has served on numerous boards and commissions.  Over his 30+ years of practice, he has been involved in a number of important projects, including the restoration of the Journal Record Building and the Oklahoma City National Memorial Center in Oklahoma City.  His design experience includes various types of facilities, including security upgrades, classrooms and training centers, museums, historic preservation, educational facilities, healthcare, civic and institutional projects, and commercial office and retail designs.

His firm began providing architectural services to Life.Church in 2006, and have continued to service their expansion needs since – presently encompassing 27 multi-site campuses spread over 8 states.  Forming SPACE in 2008 to serve the facility design needs of the evangelical Church community, they specialize in the initial analysis and programming, master planning, functional renovations, conceptual design and renderings, and full Architectural / Engineering services as may be required by growing ministries.
