Knowing where to glean good content, that can be crafted into songs for our Churches, is key in writing songs that resonate with our congregations. Introducing new songs often creates uncertainty that can interrupt the flow of worship so it’s important to navigate through the tension of using familiar worship phrases and expressions, while maintaining the “voice of the shepherd”. This helps our congregations engage confidently and quickly. Personal authenticity is a powerful entity that can translate music into corporate anthems full of worship and praise.
